Ok, so I got my Ubuntu discs for the Mac today. My purpose for having these was to make sure that the sites I design look good on Linux as well. The stupid CD's try to go into the OS but they say something like "can't detect a CD ROM drive" when the entire thing is booting from the CD ROM drive. Then it asks me if I want to boot drivers for it from a floppy drive. Who uses a floppy anymore? Anyways, very dissapointed that Ubuntu is being completely stupid about the whole thing on my Mac. Guess if I need to try Linux for a site test, I'll find someone's Windows PC and boot Linux from there. Way to go Ubuntu, go ahead and not play nice with everyone because that is truly "humanity to others"
