Long time no post! Well I'm sure you're interested in what has kept me from posting; I'll fill you in. I have recently moved into a more permanent location (thank God!). This location is a ministry house for Sowing Seeds Ministry where I am now resident director. My responsibilities include relational counseling, leading bible studies as well as prayer and worship. With these responsibilities as well as those with the House of Prayer I am, subsequently, in full-time ministry.

I really, really want to start my monthly video blog (and I will, soon!) so that we can interact a bit more through digital means (that sounded really techie; sorry). Again, the video blog is to help provoke edifying conversation across a larger audience. Please leave comments and send in any topics you'd like to discuss on a monthly basis.

I don't have much of a post this week. However, it can be summed up in a song by Jon Thurlow called 'Take Your Place'

Blog post day....what to write, what to write? Well I do have to say that things have been going well and that the Lord has been teaching me to be at peace with Him no matter the circumstance or test. The key has been to be at peace with Him instead of worrying about being at peace with the situation. Being at peace with the Lord will cause everything you're dealing with to become peaceful. Romans 16:20 says that the God of all Peace will crush Satan under OUR feet (http://bible.us/rom16.20.esv). So what does that mean? Well, it means that we can't expect that the Lord will do everything for us and let us just sit back. Jesus is inviting us to partner with Him in what He wants to do in our lives. He said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light (http://bible.us/matt11.30.esv).

Yea, I know, I missed last weeks post. I was kinda busy. Anyways, now on to this week. In my last post I mentioned that I had some pretty exciting news, of which I can now share. Two things: I am full time at the Lakeland House of Prayer, and I am currently going through an internship at the Orlando House of Prayer! The story behind all of these and other recent happenings will probably be explained in a video blog later this month. Please keep me in your prayers as I take the next step in my journey in the house of prayer and in the destiny that the Lord has for me. More to come later!

Alrighty, so consistent post #2! So much has happened, I can't even talk about it right now (not bad things). Here's the good news however: God is soooo good! Hebrews 11 tells us that faith is the substance of things hope for but the evidence of things unseen. The lesson we can learn is that what we don't see is more important than what we do see (food for thought). When God decides to stretch your faith, and you end up agreeing to it, it hurts! The good news is that it's a healthy part of the Christian life to have your faith stretched. Hebrews 11 also teaches us that without faith it is impossible to please God. This begs us to check our value system; what we put value to is what we trust in. Trust me, I'll be giving all of this in real detail as it forms and solidifies, but the good news is that God has me right where He wants me (which is the best place to be).
